The Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) cadres set ablaze five vehicles engaged in road construction work in Lawkhamaan toli in Gumla District of Jharkhand on June 1, reports United News of India. According to Police, an armed group of 10 to 12 Maoists, raided a camp office of a road construction company in the said area and set ablaze five vehicles parked there including a JCB, a water tanker, a roller, a grinder machine, and a tractor. The denial of the levy is reported to be the reason for the arson, the Police added.
