Six members of the Revolutionary People’s Committee (RPC) of the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) surrendered before the Police at Kurnavalli village of Cherla Mandal (administrative sub-division) in Bhadradri Kothagudem District of Telangana on May 31, reports Telangana Today. The surrendered Maoists were identified as – Koram Nageswar Rao, Komaram Ramesh, Sonde Ramesh, Koram Sathyam, Irpa Venkateshwarlu, and Vage Kanna Rao. As per the report, the Maoists were accompanied by around 200 villagers who reportedly pursued them to surrender.
