Security Forces (SFs) arrested a militant during an operation at village Ikhala in Palmad area in Kishtwar District of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) on December 3, reports Daily Excelsior. On specific information about presence of the militant in a hideout, a joint team of Kishtwar Police, 17 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) and 52 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) had launched an operation in the area. During searches, Police arrested the militant, identified as Tariq Hussain Wani, son of Mohammad Amin Wani, a resident of Sondar Dachchan in Kishtwar, and busted his hideout. From the hideout, SFs recovered one .303 rifle, one magazine, 64 live cartridges and 11 charger clips.
