A money changer, identified as Haji Mohammad Rahim, was killed by armed assailants (robbers) in the Spin Boldak District in Kandahar Province on August 7, reports Hasht-e Subh Daily. The money changers took a unified stand on August 8th by closing down their shops as a mark of respect and protest. The protesters called upon the Taliban to take swift action by arresting the perpetrators.
