On July 14, an official meeting was held between R.N. Ravi, present Nagaland Governor and Interlocutor for Naga Peace Talks and the Working Committee, Naga National Political Groups (NNPGs) at Nagaland Commissioner’s Guest House, opposite Super Market in Dimapur District of Nagaland, reports Nagaland Post. The meeting was held to finalize the “draft agreement” for early settlement to the decades old Naga political issue. Both the parties - Interlocutor Ravi and the ten-member WC, NNPGs led by its convenor, N. Kitovi Zhimomi discussed the action plan for the final agreement. Sources reveal that Interlocutor Ravi has also sought certain time to negotiate with another negotiating party National Socialist Council of Nagaland-Isak-Muivah (NSCN-IM) before the signing of the final agreement. Ravi is likely meet members of NSCN-IM led by its ato kilonser and chief negotiator, Th. Muivah by this week.
