On February 4, the Working Committee (WC) of the Naga National Political Groups (NNPGs) met with the United Liberation Front of Assam (ULFA) at Guwahati (Kamrup Metropolitan District) in Assam, reports Imphal Free Press. In the meeting, representatives of NNPGs and ULFA exchanged views and opinions in a frank and transparent manner and deliberated on certain crucial issues pertaining to ongoing political dialogues. Both the entities agreed to maintain constant interactions and ensure continuity of dialogue process, maintaining, preserving and promoting fraternal relationship. The joint release is signed by Arabinda Rajkhowa, ‘chairman’ ULFA, Pradip Gogoi, ‘vice president’ ULFA and N Kitovi Zhimomi, convener of NNPGs among other representatives of the latter.
