On April 13, Rajasthan Police have arrested three people (names not stated) and recovered narcotics worth INR 700 million, dropped from a Pakistani drone, in Sri Ganganagar District of Rajastan, reports The Print. “Three bike borne persons, smuggling heroin (narcotics), were intercepted before they could enter Punjab,” Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Banwari Lal stated.
On April 10, Rajasthan Police arrested four persons, identified as Amar Lal Bhadu, Ramchandra Bishnoi, Jogendra Singh and Madhav Singh, from Mohangarh area in Jaisalmer District of Rajasthan and recovered heroin (narcotics) worth INR 350 million, reports Times of India. Director General of Police (DGP) Umesh Mishrastated, “It was a specific input that after receiving the delivery from Pakistan through drones, the local smugglers were planning to supply it further to other Districts of Rajasthan and also in Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Delhi,”.
