Gadchiroli Police neutralised a Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) funding module and arrested four persons in separate operations while transporting around INR 22 million from two different roads near the Kaleshwaram-Arjungutta interstate border, between Gadchorali District in Maharashtra and Macherial District in Telangana on June 2, reports The New Indian Express. In the first incident, the Police arrested two persons traveling from Warangal District in Telangana to Bhamragad in Gadchorali District and seized INR 10 million from their possession. On the same day, the Police intercepted another vehicle traveling from Mancherial District to Asaralli village in Gadchiroli and seized around INR 12 million and arrested two other persons. Meanwhile, during the probe, the arrested persons admitted that the money was to be handed over to Maoists.
