On December 2, President Gotabaya Rajapaksa met with members of the Presidential Commission of Inquiry (PCoI) dealing with the investigation on Easter Sunday terror attacks in the Presidential Secretariat, reports Colombo Page. Chairman of the five-member Commission, Court of Appeal Judge Janaka de Silva briefed the President on the progress of the investigation. According to the Chairman of PCoI, certain officials seem to have forged the documents to cover up the failure in preventing Easter Sunday attacks, reports Daily Mirror. Following this statement, the President stressed on the need to uncover all the information relating to Easter attacks. President Rajapakse requested the PCoI to recommend steps to prevent further recurrence of such tragedies while providing all necessary facilities for investigating the culprits behind this sinister process.
