Two soldiers and two terrorists were killed while two other terrorists sustained injuries during an exchange of fire in Khoro area in Awaran District of Balochistan on October 29, reports ARY News. According to an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) press release, the dead soldiers were identified as Naib Subedar Asif Irfan (age 37 years, resident of Okara District) and Sepoy Irfan Ali (age 22 years, resident of Sargodha District).

The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) on October 28 claimed responsibility for a grenade attack on an Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) office in Arif Colony area of Sariab in Quetta, the provincial capital of Balochistan, reports The Balochistan Post. The attack took place at 7 pm on October 25. In a media statement, BLF’s ‘spokesperson’, Major Gwahram Baloch, said that the ANF, which directly operates under the supervision of the ‘occupying’ Pakistani Army, was targeted. He alleged that the ANF, instead of fulfilling its primary mission to combat narcotics in the region, is misrepresenting its mandate to international organizations and serving the interests of the Pakistani Army.
