Four Policemen were killed and at least nine people were injured on July 20 in a suicide blast in tehsil office’s compound in the Bara Bazaar of Khyber District in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), reports Geo TV. KP Inspector General (IG) Akhtar Hayat said that two suicide attackers had tried to enter the premises of the tehsil office — one from the main gate and the other from the rear. He stated that both the attackers were gunned down by the police, but added that “firing and blasts were carried out by both attackers”.

According to Regi (Warsak circle) Superintendent of Police Arshad Khan, at around 11:45pm, Police personnel were switching duties at the entrance of the Regi Model Town when unidentified terrorists opened fire at the Policemen.
Unidentified terrorists shot dead a Police constable at Maddi Gate area of Kulachi tehsil in Dera Ismail Khan District on July 20, reports Dawn. A Police spokesman said constable Mubarak Shah, a resident of Paharpur, was on duty at Maddi Gate when unidentified terrorists opened fire on him.
