Security Forces (SFs) on November 22 arrested three Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) militants during a raid in Gulshan-e-Maymar area of Karachi, the provincial capital of Sindh, reports ARY News. According to a spokesperson of Pakistan Rangers (Sindh), in an intelligence based joint operation, Sindh Rangers and Police conducted a raid in Gulshan-e-Maymar and arrested three TTP militants identified as Yaseen, Ikramullah alias Faisal and Mohammad Khalid alias Umar. Two among three arrested militants had recently returned from Afghanistan,” according to the spokesperson. They were hatching a plot for a terrorist attack in Karachi, he added. They had already reconnoitered the Karachi airport, US Consulate, Pakistan Security Printing Corporation and other sensitive locations.
