According to media reports, security forces (SFs) have killed 15 Maoist insurgents in separate incidents across the country, including six at Khaneda in Bajhang district, four at Suanriya in Rautahat district, two each at Pato in Saptari district and Sanwa in Taplejung district and one insurgent at Tinkune in Sunsari district on November 13. Maoists have also killed three civilians, including a child and a 70-year-old man, in different incidents on the same day. In the Syangja district, Maoists abducted a SF personnel and injured two others in an ambush in Letang VDC (Village Development Council) of Morang district on November 13. In another incident, the insurgents shot dead one SF personnel and a civilian and injured another civilian at Kakarhawa in Rupandehi district on November 12.
