In the second incident, another group of terrorists attacked the Forest beat office in Ghilabari in the Kamrup district and decamped with four rifles, one carbine and a wireless set. Meanwhile, the insurgents have reportedly abducted 60 teachers from their homes in the Singnam Village Development Committee (VDC) area of Taplejung district on April 13. Two days prior to polling in the Srinagar-Budgam Lok Sabha (Lower House of Parliament) constituency, terrorists launched an unsuccessful attack on the headquarters of Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) on Maulana Azad Road in the capital Srinagar on April 23. Ten persons, including four security force (SF) personnel and two photojournalists, were wounded when unidentified terrorists lobbed two hand grenades on the JKPCC premises. While the Al Mansoorain, a front outfit of the Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT), claimed responsibility for the grenade attack through a release to a local news agency, another outfit, Kashmir Freedom Force, has also reportedly claimed responsibility for the same. Elsewhere in Srinagar, ten persons were reportedly injured when terrorists lobbed a hand grenade towards a Police post at Rambagh.
