The body of one of the abducted Policemen was later found near the camp on January 26. Superintendent of Police Vishal Garg said a large group of militants, armed with sophisticated weapons, raided the camp, taking the personnel by surprise. They opened fire indiscriminately, injuring four personnel. Then they snatched an AK-47 rifle and a self-loading rifle from the Policemen. “When the policemen retaliated, the group fled from the spot, but took away two constables with them,” he added.
