At least 41 militants were killed and 17 others wounded following air and ground operations led by Afghan Security Forces (SFs) in different parts of Ghazni Province, Bakhtar News reports on July 7. Col. Fazul Khuda Ibrahimkhail spokesman of 203 Tandar Army Corps said the air and ground operations were conducted in vicinity of Khumar Khail and Esa Khail regions of Muqar District of the Province. Some heavy and light weapons, ammunitions, and military mobilizations were seized during the operations as well, sources added.
Meanwhile, three missiles hit different parts of Ghazni city in Ghazni District in the morning of July 8 when high-ranking security officials of the Province paid a visit to the city, Bakhtar News reports. A missile hit Ghazni’s provincial office, while Tariq Shah Bahrami, Minister of National Defense, had meeting with security officials of the province. Two other missiles hit two other parts of Ghazni city. There is no information about casualties so far.
