The Communist Party of Nepal-Maoist Centre (CPN-Maoist Centre) on June 18, demanded the dismissal of its 18 leaders defected to Communist Party of Nepal-Unified Marxist-Leninist (CPN-UML), reports Khabarhub.CPN-Maoist Centreleader Leela Mani Pokharel said that Maoist leaders had to reach the Election Commission (EC) as the latter did not relieve the 18 elected officials nor issued any notice of action against them. “We had registered a letter of action against the defecting leaders with the EC. But the EC has not released any information regarding it,” Pokharel said.
