The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) on July 6 arrested seven suspected terrorists allegedly belonging to the outlawed Al-Qaeda and Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) from different Districts of Punjab, reports ARY News. Explosive materials, mobile phones, weapons, and cash were seized from the possession of terrorists. The CTD carried out intelligence-based operations (IBO) in Rawalpindi, Sahiwal, Bahawalpur and Gujranwala, and arrested seven terrorists, a CTD spokesman said. The arrested terrorists were identified as Abrarul Haq, Abdul Rehman, Umair, Imran, Ashfaq, Ayub and Muawiya, the CTD spokesman added.
