On January 29, BSF troops intercepted the movement of a suspected drone near Dal village in Tarn Taran. BSF troops immediately cordoned off the anticipated dropping area. Further on January 30, during the search, BSF troops recovered one drone in partially broken condition in the farming field adjacent to Mari Kamboke village in Tarn Taran.
On January 26, the Border Security Force (BSF) and Punjab Police in a joint operation recovered a Pakistani drone (quadcopter model - DJI Mavic 3 Pro, made in China) with one packet of Heroin weighing 519 grams from a farming field in Mode village in Amritsar District of Punjab, an official statement by the BSF said, reports Hindustan Times. This recovery took place in the farming field adjacent to Mode village.
