Explosives and other articles suspected to be hidden by cadres of the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) were recovered from near Nelgunda village under Bhamragadh taluka (revenue division) in Gadchiroli District of Maharashtra on March 22, reports The Week. A special squad conducting an anti-Naxalite [Left Wing Extremist, LWE] operation in the Nelgunda village found claymore mines, two cooker bombs, steel pipes and three bundles of electric wires, among other articles, at two separate roads, said a press release issued by Gadchiroli Superintendent of Police (SP) Neelotpal.
