Four soldiers and four militants were killed during a clash after militants opened fire on a Security Forces (SFs) check post in Makeen area of South Waziristan District in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the night of February 11, reports Dawn. In a statement, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that troops responded promptly and killed four terrorists. "During the exchange of fire, four soldiers embraced shahadat," the statement added. The dead soldiers were identified as Lance Naik Imran Ali, Sepoy Atif Jahangir, Sepoy Aneesur Rehman and Sepoy Aziz.
