The International Crimes Tribunal-1 (ICT-1) on October 21 issued warrant to arrest 12 Mymensingh men accused of committing crimes against humanity in 1971, reports Dhaka Tribune. The two-member ICT-1 panel headed by Justice Mohamad Shahinur Islam passed the order, allowing a plea of the prosecution. Prosecutors Mokhlesur Rahman Badal and Tapas Kanti Baul moved the plea before the tribunal. The prosecution, however, refrained from revealing the identities of the accused.
