The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) stated on December 22, that India is closely monitoring the situation to ensure the country is protected from terrorism stemming from Pakistan, reports India Today. The MEA further revealed that that Pakistan based terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) has been on an overdrive to collect funds since Pakistan’s exit from the Grey List of Financial Action Task Force (FATF) in 2022. MEA Spokesperson Arindam Bagchi further mentioned, “India has been emphasizing the importance of ensuring that Pakistan's cross-border terrorism stops but it has not. If organizations are trying to do that, it is not a new development in the country’s history. But India expects that the international community will continue its efforts to stop that”.
