Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) militia member, identified as Madivi Ramesh (27), from Rekhapalli village in Bijapur District of Chhattisgarh was arrested during a vehicle-checking drive at Danavaigudem in Cherla Mandal (administrative sub-division) in Bhadradri Kothagudem District of Telangana on July 31, reports Telangana Today. Police said, Ramesh dropped Maoist pamphlets on a road between Nimmalagudem and Kurnapally villages in the wake of Maoist ‘martyrs’ memorial week’ on the directions of the Maoist Usur ‘area committee secretary’ Ganga. Police seized the motorcycle he was riding along with 10 Naxal [Left Wing Extremism, LWE]-related pamphlets.
