Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) cadres killed a tribal young man on the pretext of being a ‘police informer’ in Dantewada District of Chhattisgarh on August 23, reports tv9telugu.com. According to details, armed Maoists went to Katte Kalyan's house and took him out. A 'Praja Court' (people's court held by Maoists) was held at some distance from the village, where he was accused of cooperating the Police. The Maoists tied his hands and then killed him. The Area Committee left a poster in the name of Maoist Party at the dead body, stating that Kalyan has been passing on their information to the Police for the past few years.
