Pakistan troops violated the Cease Fire Agreement (CFA) by firing unprovoked along the Line of Control (LoC) in Rajouri and Poonch Districts of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) on May 5, reports Daily Excelsior. Defence spokesman said, “at about 2030 hours, Pak initiated unprovoked ceasefire violation by firing with Small Arms and shelling with Mortars along LoC in Manjakote Sector of District Rajouri.” Also, at the same time, Pakistan also resorted to unprovoked firing in Balakote sector of Poonch. “Indian Army is retaliating befittingly,” the spokesman added.
