On March 17, a Delhi court extended the custody of the arrested couple with suspected links to the Islamic State's (IS) Khorasan module, reports Outlook India. The couple Jahanjeb Sami and his wife Hina Bashir Beg were arrested on March 8, for allegedly instigating anti-CAA protests in Delhi. The court also sent co-accused Abdul Basith, who was in judicial custody in another case, to Police custody for seven days after he was arrested on March 17, in the case related to the protests. The couple hailed from Srinagar and was residing in Jamia Nagar in Delhi when they were arrested along with four mobile phones, one laptop, one external hard disc and incriminating material was seized from their house
