At least seven persons were killed and more than 70 injured in a bomb blast inside a madrassah (seminary) in Dil Colony of Peshawar, the provincial capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, on October 27 (today), reports SAMAA TV. The blast took place when Quran class was ongoing in madrassah which is located inside a mosque. Children and instructors are among the victims. Those killed and injured students were aged between nine and 15 years. City Superintendent of Police (SP) Waqar Azeem said "a person, who has yet to be identified, came to the madrassah at around 8am, kept a bag there, and left. There were explosives in the bag". There were at least 40 to 50 people present at the site when the explosion occurred, he added.
