Graffiti was found painted on the boundary wall of the ‘Jal Shakti’ (government office) in Dharmsala City in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh, days ahead of Cricket World Cup fixture, reports Hindustan Times on October 5. Police said that the pro-Khalistan group Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) has claimed responsibility for the act. SFJ Chief Gurpatwant Singh Pannu had recently threatened to disrupt the ICC Cricket World Cup tournament and claimed to target the final match of the series, said the report. Two suspects have been identified and further investigation is going on, the officials added.
