Suspected Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) cadres set ablaze several vehicles, including dumpers and trucks, parked near the Serangdag bauxite mine at the Ghagra community development (CD) block in Gumla District of Jharkhand on January 9, reports indiatvnews.com. “A search operation has been launched to nab the miscreants, who are believed to be members of a Maoist outfit,” the Police officer said, adding that the demand for ‘levy’ (extortion money) is likely to be the reason behind the act.
