On February 26, two gangsters, identified as Mandeep Singh alias Toofan, and Manmohan Singh alias Mohna, were killed and an associate, identified as Keshav, was injured, in a clash among inmates lodged in the Goindwal Sahib Central Jail in Tarn Taran District of Punjab, reports Hindustan Times. All of them were accused in the killing of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala on May 29, 2022. “Our investigation has indicated that the accused in this high security zone were divided into two groups—Jaggu Bhagwanpuria gang and Lawrence Bishnoi gang. It seems the three victims, who are members of Bhagwanpuria gang, were attacked by the gang members of Lawrence Bishnoi”, Police stated. The officials have stated further that the teams were investigating to ascertain the exact reason behind the clash. Canada-based gangster Goldie Brar, in a social media post, took responsibility for the gang-war inside the prison, India Today adds.
