Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa said that he will be the Prime Minister even if an interim Government is established and reiterated that people engaged in protest should come forward for discussions, in order to find solutions to the problems, reports Colombo Page on April 23. The Prime Minister stated that so far, no Member of Parliament (MP) has asked him to resign from the post of Prime Minister. He added that only a handful of MPs who did not know the history have called for his resignation and the majority of MPs were with him.
