As many as 27 Taliban and Al-Qaida militants were killed following air raids carried out by Afghan Air Forces in Helmand Province within the last 24 hours, reports Bakhtar News on December 26. Senior commander in Attal army corps said, 23 Taliban fighters and four militants of Al-Qaida terrorist groups were killed following the air attacks and dozens more were injured, when the militants were busy on organizing terrorist activities in Districts and center of the province. Four hideouts belonged to the militants along with all military equipment have been demolished following the air strikes, Attal army corps further added.
