Five sympathizer-cum-couriers of Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) were arrested with explosives in Jagannadhapuram village of Paloncha Mandal (administrative sub-division) in Bhadradri Kothagudem District of Telangana on February 29, reports The Times of India.The arrested couriers have been identified as, P. Saraiah (45), resident of Nimmalagudem in Kistaram Mandal of Sukma District in Chhattisgarh, K. Murali (24) and K. Nageswara Rao (40) of Dabbanootala village in Dummugudem Mandal in Khammam District of Andhra Pradesh, K Sammaiah (26) of Veerabhadrapuram village in Dummugudem Mandal and J. Hanumanthu (28) of Toggudem in Paloncha Mandal. As per the report, they were arrested during a vehicle check in the said village while they were transporting explosives stolen from stone crushing units to Maoist cadres. The Police have recovered 40 gelatin sticks, 40 detonators and 27 explosive boosters from their possession.
