The Islamabad Hindu Panchayat announced on July 4, that it would discontinue the construction of a boundary wall of Shri Krishna Mandir in Islamabad after a part of the wall was allegedly demolished by a mob of fundamentalist forces, reports The Times of India. “Islamabad Hindu Panchayat has announced to discontinue Krishna Temple construction work for the time being following some unpleasant incidents at the site,” Lal Chand Malhi, a Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) National Assembly member, tweeted, apparently referring to the attack.
