The Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) cadres staged a road blockade by felling trees at the Gochapada-Balandapada road in Kandhamal District of Odisha on August 18, reports The Pioneer. The Maoists also put up banners and posters asking people to join their movement against the Government. No untoward incident was reported while the Police recovered the banners and posters and took necessary measures to remove road blockade.
