Six Taliban militants were killed and thirty-four persons including Afghan Security Forces and civilians were freed from a Taliban ‘prison’ in an operation by Afghan commandosin Adraskan District of Herat Province on March 2, reports The Khaama Press. “11 army soldiers, seven policemen, three Afghan Air Force members, seven workers of a project, seven government employees and a public uprising force member were freed from the prison,” the Ministry of Defence, in a statement, said.
