Talks between the Government and the outlawed Netra Bikram Chand-led Communist Party of Nepal-Maoist (CPN-Maoist-Chand) held in two phases on March 3 ended on a ‘positive note’, reports Khabarhub. According to Dr. Rajan Bhattarai, a member of the Government negotiating team talks between the two sides achieved progress on several sticky issues even though no “concrete agreement” has been reached on the key points. The two sides — after holding the first round of dialogue — held the second round at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar late in the afternoon.
