On December 5, three Rohingya Solidarity Organisation (RSO)operatives, identified as Jobair, Anowar Sadik, and Abdul Kasim, were killed in an attack carried out by the Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army (ARSA) in Ukhia Upazila (Sub-District) in Cox’s Bazar District of Chittagong Division, reports The Daily Star. Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Amir Zafar, commander of Armed Police Battalion 8 (APBn-8) said that Jobair was shot dead on the spot in Camp 15, injuring another individual. Additionally, the ARSA operatives abducted two Rohingyas, critically hacking them. Anowar, from the G-6 block, succumbed to his injuries around midnight after being rescued and transported to a nearby hospital. Also, Kasim was abducted, taken to a nearby hill, and fatally shot.
