On June 1, two persons, identified as Jangminthang Kipgen and Deikhokim Simte, including one suspected Kuki-Chin Front (KNF) militant were killed while two others sustained injuries in violent clashes that broke out at N Molen village and T Natyang Village in Kangpokpi District in Manipur, reports The Sangai Express. Police sources stated that 43 houses of N Molen and 29 houses of T Natyang were burnt down by mobs. The incident occurred when two suspected KNF militants came and threw a petrol bomb at one of the houses.
