Haji Mohammad Ali, Mohammad Ishaq and Abdul Razzaq were killed on the spot, while Mohammad Saleem was injured seriously. Levies Force sources said the victims hailed from Vehari town of Muzaffargarh District in Punjab.

Eight dead bodies, including that of a student leader, were recovered from various areas of Balochistan on March 26, reports Daily Times. According to official sources, six bodies were thrown near the Sui area of Dera Bugti District. A Baloch Republican Student Organisation (BRSO) organiser Kohdil Bugti and his father Ali Baksh were among the dead, BRP spokesman Sher Mohamad Bugti, said. Two of the victims were identified as Shah Baksh Bugti and Rahmdil Bugti, while identity of the remaining two bodies could not be ascertained. The BRP spokesman accused security forces of the killing. “The victims were kidnapped some few months ago and had been killed during illegal detention at the hands of security forces,” he said.

According to Balochistan Levies, unidentified militants planted a remote control device alongside a bridge near Kehwar, some 30 kilometres from Turbat city and detonated it through remote control device when the vehicle of local notable, Rahm Dil, passed through the bridge. As result of the explosion, Rahm Dil and his son, Bahar, and three of his security guards died on the spot while their pickup was completely destroyed.

At least 14 personnel of the Frontier Corps, including a Major, identified as Muhammad Amir Shahzad, were killed and 16 others got injured when their convoy was attacked by a group of Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) militants near a coalfield in Bahlol Basti and Kingari area of Musakhel District on November 21, reports Daily Times. The BLA claimed the responsibility for the attack and further claimed that BLA attackers also took away the arms of the Frontier Corps soldiers. According to the Frontier Corps spokesperson, a Frontier Corps unit was sent to Kingari and Bahlol Basti in Musa Khel on the request of local people for providing adequate security cover to the coalmine project. Some armed militants opened fire on the convoy, killing 14 personnel, including a major, and injuring few others, he added.

Five abductors were killed and two Levies personnel got injured during an armed clash in an attempt to rescue four abducted health workers from Malazi and Hailkalzai Basic Health Unit in Pishin District. Those abducted were identified as lady doctor Shenaz, technician Muhammad Asad and workers Noor Shah and Mohabbat Khan. After the Security personnel were informed about the incident the Levies personnel chased the abductors near Barshore and opened fire on them, killing five abductors and arresting another after the armed clash. One Balochistan Levies official said, “The abductors belonged to Waziristan Agency in Federally Administered tribal Areas (FATA) and were taking the hostages to Waziristan via Zhob route”.
