The Security Forces (SFs) increased vigilance in areas along the border that Kangra District of Himachal Pradesh shares with Punjab following the arrest of two Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) militants from Pathankot District of Punjab on June 11, reports The Tribune on June 12. The Kangra Superintendent of Police (SP), Vimukt Ranjan said that security has been scaled up in the border areas of Kangra District and an alert has been sounded at all Police posts.
