A woman was killed and two other civilians were injured as Pakistan violating the ceasefire started shelling in Uri area, along the Line of Control (LoC), Baramulla District of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) in India on June 12, reports Daily Excelsior. “One woman identified as Akhter Begum, wife of Zahoor Ahmad Chaci of Batgran village was killed due to shelling,” an official said. Also, several shells landed in Nambla, Saidpora, Thajal, Silikote and adjoining villages.
