Taking into consideration probable attempts by rival faction of the party to file no-confidence motion, cross floor against establishment faction-led Governments, the Communist Party of Nepal-Unified Marxist Leninist (CPN-UML) on April 25 delegated the power to take action against such activities to its Standing Committee, reports Khabar Hub. The meeting of General Convention Organizing Committee held in Baluwatar deduced that the Madhav Kumar Nepal faction could engage in activities that are against the interest of the establishment faction led by CPN-UML Chair and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. Party Spokesperson Pradeep Gyawali said the party entrusted the Standing Committee with the authority to proceed further action against rebel lawmakers.
