Sanjarang further said the Government has to clarify what action has been taken against the culprits who killed an NDFB cadre at Medaghat in March 2007. The outfit also demanded action against the Baksa district Superintendent of Police, P.K. Dutta, who, according to the outfit, has been working hand in glove with Hitesh Basumatary, the Bodoland Territorial Council executive member, to instigate fratricidal killings. The press release further said it will not take part in the JMG meet if the Government fails to ensure the release of NDFB vice president B.
