The High Level Political Mechanism (HLPM) meeting agreed in principle to form the much-debated State Restructuring Commission (SRC). The mechanism comprising leaders of the major three political parties (Unified Communist Party of Nepal-Maoist( Unified CPN-Maoist), Communist Party of Nepal-Unified Marxist Leninist (CPN-UML) and Nepali Congress (NC) ) have decided to form the SRC in order to settle the differences among the parties over the forms of federal States to be adopted in the new constitution in the making.
